CBRE has opened a new 21,500 square-foot technology-enabled office on the 8th floor of 2000 Avenue of the Stars at the Century Park complex. The new office is part of CBRE’s Workplace360 program highlighting the company’s “Future of Work” space standards, including innovative technology and a wider variety of collaborative spaces designed to support hybrid working.

Technology is the cornerstone of CBRE's industry-leading standard for the high-performance workplace. High-tech features such as enhanced video conferencing, which enables real-time, in-person and remote collaboration, allow employees to work more efficiently, thus elevating the service they deliver to their clients.  The integration of innovative technology throughout the office supports hybrid collaboration and delivers seamless digital experiences. The conference space features an interactive whiteboard capable of simultaneous in-person and remote use. The office also has multiple digital displays, including a 135-inch DvLED media display, which helps facilitate office and client events. Other technology elements include screen sharing and touchscreen functionality for interactive presentations.

The office offers different work environments, including bench workstations, focus pods and focus rooms, to cater to neurodiversity and a range of personal work styles. The collaboration-geared areas feature open and enclosed rooms in all sizes and furniture layouts, as well as a large community space called “The Heart” with retractable walls for maximum flexibility.

A unique feature of the West Los Angeles office is “The Green Room,” which provides a curated experience for independent work, relaxation, or client events in a space inspired by the neighboring film lots and Hollywood's golden era.

The office design is inspired by L.A.'s rich history and scenic landscapes. Artwork throughout the office, curated by NowArt, pays homage to the area’s beloved public art installations. Clean lines of the space emulate the city’s iconic architecture, while the soothing hues of the Pacific Ocean and earthy palettes of the surrounding mountains contribute to a workspace that fosters calm, productivity, and an appreciation of L.A.’s cultural and natural heritage.

Sharpe handled the drywall scope on this premium interior tenant improvement crafted to deliver a first-class experience for travelers. The space is packed with high-end finishes including stone feature walls, custom millwork cabinetry, integrated bench seating, and backlit mirrors throughout. The lounge includes a sleek bar with backlit stone, an antiqued mirror back bar with custom shelving, and a fluted stone face paired with a bespoke drink rail. Every zone was built to deliver a distinct feel, using top-tier materials and finishes.  Working in the middle of an active terminal brought added layers of complexity. Our team maneuvered through tight logistics and a dual inspection process involving both LAWA and city officials. The build demanded creative problem-solving; custom metal rods for feature dividers required precise fabrication, and the marriage of stone, millwork, and metal finishes took detailed coordination. Full-scale mock-ups of the bar and reception areas helped lock in the details and deliver exactly what the design called for.

Sharpe was proudly selected to perform the framing, drywall, and taping for HITT’s Office Relocation project. The move transitioned HITT’s operations from Culver City to a newly built 25,000 square-foot space in El Segundo, designed to support and elevate their Los Angeles construction team. The layout features perimeter private offices and conference rooms surrounding a central open office hub, encouraging collaboration and streamlining communication between Project Managers and support staff. An exposed ceiling design highlights the existing building’s honeycomb deck, adding architectural interest and depth to the space. One of the focal points of the project is the open kitchen and lounge area, which connects directly to an outdoor terrace, designed as a social anchor for team lunches, informal meetings, and after-hours gatherings. Sharpe successfully installed 34,000 square-feet of drywall on the project, helping bring the architectural vision to life with precision and craftsmanship.
