As leaders in our industry, we feel it is important for our team to share and learn with our industry peers. The time we commit to local industry organizations only helps us better understand how we can improve on our project collaboration, development approach, and establish stronger teaming opportunities while maintaining the most up to date knowledge in our market. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Donations
As the world continues to deal with the effects of COVID-19, Sharpe Interior Systems, Inc. is consistently looking to implement best practices in order to protect our team, our families and our industry partners. Sharpe understands that in order to follow all safety guidelines, personnel must be equipped with up-to-date information and the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
As the number of coronavirus cases in the United States has exponentially increased the past two months, healthcare workers and human services organizations sounded the alarm about shortages of PPE. Community hospitals, medical centers, human service organizations and charitable associations all around the country continue to face safety equipment shortages.
While the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on Sharpe’s 2020 philanthropic endeavor, the pandemic has not stifled our efforts to help those in our communities. The Sharpe team has had to re-think how we engage and support our local charities. We have also taken measures to help our local healthcare workers. In true Sharpe fashion, our philanthropic work is non-stop, with multiple active campaigns running simultaneously.
Sharpe currently has two active programs in place to help community organizations and local healthcare workers with the face mask shortage.
On June 24th, Sharpe Interior Systems, Inc. made a second delivery of face masks to our friends at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Marina del Rey. Once again, the Cedars-Sinai staff enthusiastically accepted our donation.
On August 11th, Sharpe, along with our philanthropic partners Artists for Trauma, Karen Michelle and Lilian Raven Clothing, delivered 2,700 face masks to The Midnight Mission in DTLA on behalf of The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art's "Sew to Slow" campaign. This mask donation not only provides safety for The Midnight Mission staff and the people they serve, but they also provide hope in these challenging times. Sharpe Interior Systems Inc. is proud to support this extraordinary organization and their amazing team.
We are also very thankful to our exceptional work force, who continue to move forward despite the challenges posed by the ongoing health crisis. Without you, we would not be able to provide these valuable resources to our communities. Thank you for all that you do.
