TCW Group’s relocation to its new headquarters at City National Plaza marks a bold new chapter for the company. Downsizing from its previous location at the iconic TCW Tower, the new 130,000 square-foot office space is designed to reflect a modern, efficient, and forward-thinking corporate environment.
Sharpe played a key role in bringing this transformation to life, with over 267,000 square feet of drywall work installed across multiple levels. The design vision by Gensler called for clean lines, crisp detailing, seamless transitions throughout the expansive floor plan, and requirements that demanded precision and expert craftsmanship at every turn.
From intricate framing coordination to high-end finishes, Sharpe’s field team delivered on all fronts, working closely with the general contractor, Taslimi, to meeting tight timelines while upholding the highest standards of quality. The build-out includes a mix of executive offices, conference spaces, collaborative zones, and specialty areas, all designed to foster connection and innovation.
This project stands as a testament to Sharpe’s ability to manage complex interior scopes on large-scale corporate renovations in active downtown settings.
