Apollo Global Management has recently moved into The Plaza at Continental Park located at 2101 Rosecrans Avenue in El Segundo. The Plaza is a Class “A”, six-story office facility totaling 460,000 square feet with three linked towers encircling a ½ acre central open-air courtyard. It was designed to meet the professional space needs of today’s office tenant and includes an on-site gym and two dining options; Fogo de Chao and Eddie V’s Prime Seafood. Apollo occupies a full floor in one of the buildings and Sharpe is currently completing the second phase of their tenant build-out spanning just over 33,000 square-feet.
Meticulously designed by HLW, the space includes elevator lobbies, reception area, private and open office space, conference rooms and break rooms. Special features of the project include acoustical, radius ceiling clouds, GFRC columns and venetian plaster. Sharpe is currently completing installation of over 29,000 square-feet of drywall and taping and will be turning it over shortly for installation of venetian plaster.
Apollo was founded in 1990, and since its inception has built a leading global asset management business by staying true to their core principles. They specialize in (1) overall credit platforms to help companies access flexible solutions to fund their growth, (2) private equity to help companies create long-term sustainable value, and finally, (3) empowering people to retire better.
